Bizagi Modeler presents an empty window and cannot continue

Summary

When using Bizagi Modeler either the free version or Modeler Services, special considerations must be taken into account.
Sometimes when such considerations (described below) are not in place, when attempting to open Bizagi Modeler an empty window is displayed. Users will notice that there is no button to close it and Modeler has to be closed.
Also, when
 pressing the 'sign-in' link, the pop-up window is empty and it does not allow users to sign in.

Symptoms

An empty window is shown when trying to open Modeler or when trying to sign in:

Cause

This problem occurs when the user does not have the latest Modeler version, is lacking a basic browser configuration or has installed Internet Explorer 9 or lower.

Solution

If you do not have Bizagi latest version, please download it

Add these exceptions to the proxy 
*.bizagi.*
*.msecnd.*

For Modeler Services, users need the 80 and 443 ports enabled.

 

Then, add the following URLs to the browser trusted sites:

http://www.bizagi.com
http://*.bizagi.*
http://ajax.googleapis.com
https://model.bizagi.com  
https://account.bizagi.com
https://az804465.vo.msecnd.net 


On Windows:
1.    Go to the Control Panel.
2.    Click on Network and Internet, then click Internet Options.
3.    Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
4.    Enter the URLs of your Trusted Sites, then click Add.
5.    Click Close and then OK.

On Google Chrome:
1.    Click the Google Chrome Menu icon on the far right of the Address bar.
2.    Click on Settings, scroll to the bottom and click the Show Advanced Settings link.
3.    Go to Network menu and Click on Change proxy settings.
4.    Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
5.    Enter the URLs of your Trusted Sites, then click Add.
6.    Click Close and then OK.

On Internet Explorer:
1.    Click the Internet Explorer Tools Menu icon on the far right of the Address bar (gear icon).
2.    Click on Internet Options.
3.    Click the Security tab > Trusted Sites icon, then click Sites.
4.    Enter the URLs of your Trusted Sites, then click Add.
5.    Click Close and then OK.
