Summary Bizagi is not able to send emails and a message is displayed in the Work Portal. An error is also displayed in the Event Log displaying a timeout error when the email is trying to be sent. The problem is usually related to network issues with the SMTP server. Applies to Bizagi 10.x Symptoms Some or all notifications are not sent and thus not received by the recipients. The event log displays errors like the following: BizAgi.Render.JQuery Message: Unable to process the case: Could not send message to: email@example.com - Reason: The operation has timed out. Stack Trace: at BizAgi.Render.JQuery.Model.ActionProcessors.PerformCaseProcessor.ProcessAction(RequestInfo requestInfo)... Cause The problem is caused by performance or network issues with your SMTP server. Solution Validate the performance of the network and SMTP server configured in Bizagi to send notifications. To identify your configured server, refer to http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?smtp_configuration.htm. We strongly recommend to use an intermediate SMTP services as explained in http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?smtp_server_in_windows_server_.htm in order to guarantee more availability of the server.
