How to deactivate the Rule compiler to improve performance

Last Year

If you encounter performance issues related to the Rules, you can deactivate the Rules compiler and avoid these problems. Recall that when you deactivate the Rule compiler, you will lose the following features:

  • Finding variables that are not declared
  • Find inexistent methods in the component library
  • Find syntaxis issues (such as missing parenthesis, semicolons, etc)

The configuration explained below applies for all the projects opened in Bizagi Studio.

Applies to

Bizagi Studio version 11.2 and above

What do you need to do?

Follow the next procedure to deactivate the Rule compiler:

1. Open the appsettings.xml file, located at C:\ProgramData\Bizagi\Enterprise\BizagiStudio, using the text editor of your choice.

2. Within the <AppSettings> section, add the following key:
<add key="EnableRulesCompiler" value="false" />

3. Restart Bizagi Studio. This should change the behavior.
