HOW TO'S

Summary

Bizagi projects can be executed in either a .NET or a JEE platform while using Bizagi Studio.

Bizagi Studio is aware of the platform configured for each project, although this information is not stored in the project database.

In order to identify which platform is set for a specific Bizagi project, you may review the configuration stored at the projects registry file.

Applies to

Bizagi Studio 10.x

What you need to do?

Recall that JEE projects in a development environment (using Bizagi Studio) run on bundled a JBoss server check while .NET projects run on a IIS or IIS express, as described at http://help.bizagi.com/bpmsuite/en/index.html?suite_systema.htm.

Bizagi determines on which platform a project runs by checking the Edition attribute configured for each project in the projects registry configuration, a local file at %SystemDrive%\ProgramData\Bizagi\BizAgiProjects.xml.

The Edition attribute will be:

  • Standard: For .NET projects.
  • Enterprise: For JEE projects.

Aditionally, for JEE projects, the information contained inside the WebApplicationInformation element is empty, while in .NET projects this element will have explicit web server information.
