Summary

When a user tries to open a Bizagi project which has been updated to the most recent version, the following error is thrown:

Symptoms

When trying to open a project the following error is thrown:

Service Bizagi Standard Server Operations Service in [ProjectName] is not accessible

Projects cannot be opened due to the Bizagi Operation Service is not accessible even though this service is Running.

Cause

The error is caused because Bizagi Studio has invalid references which do not allow to open the project and locate the Operation Service. It is most likely that the project keeps configurations that belong to the previous version of Bizagi Studio.

Solution

Disjoin the project which is failing using the Disjoin from project option located within de the Delete option of the All projects window.

Once the project had been disjoined, go to Existing Projects option and select the project again, this will update all the references along with the Operation Service.
